coVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR guRC MEMBERS
We know COVID has caused uni to be really different this year, but we are committed, along with Busby, to make sure you still get your riding fix at uni!
So that you and the staff at busby are as safe as possible in your lessons, we’ve put together some guidelines which you must follow.
Travel
To get there you need to either drive yourself or use public transport, make sure you follow the government guidance! Public transport information can be found here.
Hygiene Measures and Equipment
Once you’re there, sadly we aren’t allowed into the stables but once you’ve popped your mask on and sanitized your hands, only a short walk through the gallery and the horses will be there waiting for you in the school.
Make sure you’ve come with all your riding clothes on, so that there’s less standing about. Gloves are encouraged while you’re riding but don’t worry if you haven’t got any, the tack is all sanitized between uses! Masks can come off while you’re riding but if you can’t distance, in cases like if you have a leader, it’s asked that they stay on.
Cancellations
If you can’t come to your lesson for COVID reasons such as you have to isolate, we ask that you let us and Busby know you won’t be attending that session. Contact Info can be found here.Anyone showing symptoms will be turned away and not allowed to ride, we trust you know this! This is in everyone's best interests because following the rules ensures we can continue to provide you with your horsey fix in this weird time.
Hope you have a great time riding with the club this year and stay safe!
