How to get there

The riding school is accessible by car, bus and train. We advise checking well ahead of time if they are running.

Bus

The Number 6 First Bus to East Kilbride or Calderwood goes from Great Western Road or city centre. It usually takes around 45mins-1hour depending on traffic. You’ll get off the bus on East Kilbride Road - near to the train station - and can either walk along Station Road then cross the railway bridge, or walk right along Westerton Avenue (about 5 mins)

Avoid getting on the 6A from GWR as it will stop in the City Centre, but you can get the 6A to East Kilbride or Calderwood from the City Centre.

Train

The East Kilbride line from Glasgow Central stops at Busby. This usually takes 20-25 minutes, and trains are normally every 30 minutes (20 minutes and 50 minutes past the hour). Again, you can walk up Westerton Avenue or Station Road.
